IN COGNE, AOSTA VALLEY
In the Aosta Valley, in the hamlet of Lillaz, 3 kilometres away from the small town of Cogne, there is the apartment hotel Les Nigritelles, very near the famous ice climbing cascades of Cogne, and a few minutes' walk from the spectacular water falls of Lillaz, ice solid in winter, and sparkling of clear water in the other periods of the year.
This cosy hamlet is a very good starting point to visit the Gran Paradiso National Park in any season. It has an easy access to the cross-country skiing tracks and to the snowshoes itineraries. Here the road ends, and the footpaths begin. You can leave your car and continue on foot or on a mountain bike for a full immersion in a wonderful mountain scenery.
Our apartment hotel is the ideal choice to organize your day in complete autonomy, following only your time and rhythm. What you will find
The apartment hotel, situated in a revamped family home, and run by us, the owners, has a lift/elevator. The building, entirely accessible to disabled guests, has comfortable one or two-bedroom units of different surfaces, each with private toilet-bathroom, cooking facilities, telephone, radio, colour TV, free Wi-Fi connection, individual safety boxes, individual heating, and balcony.

An underground garage with a place for each unit is also available, with a sporting equipment booth for each unit, a private parking ourside, a launderette with a washing machine, a dryer and pressing iron, a homely bar, where you can taste a full buffet breakfast, with produts of the territory and homemade cakes. The reading room and the outdoor solarium encourage conviviality and relaxation. Your pets are welcome. A supplement may be charged to host them.
Sustainability and environment
Being particularly sensitive to environmental issues, we have chosen to use a wood pellet furnace, integrated by 48 square metres of solar collectors, for heating and sanitary hot water..

Our apartment hotel has obtained the Quality Mark of the Gran Paradiso National Park, that recognizes an engagement for greater environmental sustainability and the highlighting of the territory.
